Welcome to Destiny Church Highlands in Inverness

Destiny Church Highlands is a new church based in Inverness, part of a larger church network, here to help you find answers to the problems and questions which life brings.

We have come to realise that life is not so much about what you know as who you know, and have found that a relationship with God is the deepest desire of every human heart. Jesus said

’whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst’.

He meant that the things of life, even good things like relationships, career or supporting your team, cannot fully satisfy, but that we all need God in order to live a life where our deepest desires for love, acceptance and security are met. It’s so good to know that God cares for each one of us!

Where we meet

The Soup Kitchen

Location: Manna House, Huntley St, Inverness.
Time: Tuesdays 7pm - 9pm
Contact: Eric Hanna 07795 175 573

Every Tuesday night we aim to provide a healthy hot meal for all who come in, coffee, tea, pastries etc all for free.

If you can leave a donation by all means do so. However, don't worry if you can't. It's for homeless people or for people with very low incomes and cannot afford to buy food that week.

Food poverty is an issue for people who have had delays in their benefits. For instance, homeless people (on the streets) or people who have been relocated into a B&B which do not carry cooking facilities. There are many more reasons, but those are just a few and they can happen to anyone.

Unlike other soup kitchens we want it to be a fun and relaxing experiencing for anyone coming in. If you do not need to use this service but know someone who does please tell them. Or if you would like to donate any food to us please contact us.
